Dive into the endless starbound adventures by creating your own worlds, characters, and adventures ! In this game, players are individuals known as spacers- interstellar travellers in a futuristic, space-faring society who scrape by doing odd jobs across different worlds and star systems. The rules are simple: Spacer uses a resolution mechanic where two six-sided dice are rolled together with situational modifiers applied; a result of a 8+ is a success! Spacer provides game referees with all the resources and procedures needed to create an endless universe full of adventure including: Character creation mini-game Patrons and job generation NPC creations and rumours Trade and travel Starship construction Starship operations Vehicles Combat, including starship and vehicle combat Star system and planet generation Planet exploration and survival Alien animal creation Psionics Referee advice And much more! Spacer is designed for open-ended play by including the tools for a referee to improvise and generate scenarios as needed at the table to meet the player’s actions. Spacer is inspired by the iconic sci-fi roleplaying game from 1977 and is designed to be compatible with the nearly 50 years worth of material released for it.
