The Sweet Spot

College life has never been particularly tough on Brett, a junior at the notoriously voracious Columbia State University. The deer breezed through his first two years, eating more than his fair share of students while avoiding ending up stewing away in a stomach himself. There was no reason for him to believe this year should be any different. But all that gluttony has finally caught up with him. He's put on enough weight to enter the Sweet Spot, the size range that makes a pred's mouth water and stomach growl. Now the doughy deer is on edge as he watches out for a roommate with the munchies, a campus full of ravenous peers, and a professor who'll do anything to make sure venison is on the menu.
