Broadside (GMTK 2026)

A boat-based auto-battler where you wait for the ships to collide to decide who will win! Builds you make are automatically uploaded and other people will get to fight your build! Some keywords: BROADSIDE: When the two ships meet, also the name of the game, yipee!SHIELD: Protects your ship, damage is taken from shield before it is taken from the health of the ship. Burn damage ignores shield.BURN: Burn is damage over time, ticking down every second after it's applied. Burn damage ignores shield.CHARGE: Charge instantly reduces the current cooldown of an item, if an item's cooldown goes negative it'll activate until it's positive again.HOLD: The opposite of charge, it instantly adds to the cooldown of an item, delaying it's next activation.MULTISHOT: Items with multishot will activate multiple times on broadside.SELL VALUE: How much the item sells for, by default this is half of it's cost. Some items can increase or decrease itself or other item's sell value (try to find the cursed doubloon!) Note: Builds are shared using Talo- no personally identifiable information is sent other than your IP (because, well, it has to connect to the server so the server will get your IP!).
