In this Roll & Write game you play as Nedward Denison: PaleoGEN's Programmer hired by Tactgene's Dr. Clark Dodgston to copy classified PaleoGEN's documents. (Soon more lore.) Game rules... OBJECTIVE Complete 3 full cloning lines before accumulating 6 genetic errors or before 2 system modules collapse completely. COMPONENTS 4 custom dice: each with symbols: A, T, C, G, ERROR, SYSTEM. (You can use normal d6s)1 black d6 for the Events table. Game sheet (one per player)Pencil and a good eraser. GAME PHASE 1. Dice Roll (each round) Roll the 5 dice. You will get a result for 1 event and combinations that you will use to: Complete clone tubes: each line must have the exact 6 symbols. Use SYSTEM results to repair modules, defend the system or prevent ERRRORS.If you get ERROR, add it to the genetic error counter. 2. System Check (Event) Consult the table of events. It may force you to check modules, add errors, or lose progress in tubes. 3. Assignment Choose which symbol will be used this round. You can: Place a letter (A, T, C, G) in an empty cell of a cloning line.Use SYSTEM to mark a functional module (delete a marked cell). If you cannot use a symbol, you lose it that turn. VICTORY / DEFEAT CONDITIONS You win if you complete 3 full genetic lines (all 6 cells with correct letters). You lose if: You fill the error counter (6 errors).2 modules of the system are completely marked (fail). This game still in development.
