Subzero Heart

this is a project i planned for years and has overgrown my capability. the year is ~2000AC, earth is modified beyond recognition, the builders excavated to its core and replaced it with a fusion reactor. the scaffolding are made of scifi composite, even though it's heavy, it is unbreakable, theoretically. there's a solar war that ended by 0AC, a single blow collapsed 1 milllion modules and created the rift in the image. the moon got obliterated at some point. it's a ring of solar panels now.
