Chasing sunrise

This placed #1 in Sound and Overall user experience in No Anime Art Visual Novel Jam. When a young teacher is replaced with a robot he signs up for a sketchy TV show to win a $10 million cash prize. Luckily he recognizes one of the contestants; she’s a former student of his and smarter than he is. Can he make it out alive with the money? Or will he lose his sanity? Inspired by Get Out + Squid Game + AI hype. This is a response to "What’s the point of drawing and writing, when the computer does it faster and cheaper?" Content warning: gun violence, physical violence, trauma. I created the story + drawings. For sound sources please see credits. Approx. 25 minute play-through with 4 different endings.
