Sinopsis Kang Yuna is a student at the University of Arts in Korea. She is someone very intelligent and charming. In a nineties summer you're a new student in her class. Could love develop between the two? About the game demo My Summer Love: Memories is a romantic visual novel that captures the style of 90s full-motion video games. It's a fully immersive interactive video game that simulates a love story with Kang Yuna. This is more than just a dating sim visual novel: Artificial intelligence allows for spontaneous and entertaining dialogues that, along with realistic animations, keep you engaged in the game and create a different experience than a traditional visual novel based on predefined dialogues. Since the AI is local (included in the game), your conversations are anonymous, so you don't need a third-party service. From start to finish, the game is packed with 90s references that will transport you that era: Arcades, CDs, Tamagotchi, Walkman, Rock bands, and more. Retro minigames will be included in the game that will enhance the experience. Influences More than words Korean romantic series DEVELOPMENT I developed my own game engine specifically for visual novels: the FULL-EMOTION ENGINE. I needed complete memory access control and multithreading capabilities to efficiently load and unload images and videos, as well as dynamically generate text. No existing engine seemed suitable. My engine was built from scratch using C++ and primarily the following libraries: SFML, LlamaCpp, and DearImgui.
