Deep Into The Dream

Deep Into The Dream is an incremental game where dwarves mine gold inside a sleeping dragon’s dream. Dig deeper, grow the hoard, and keep the dragon asleep—because if it wakes up, the dream is over. The dream only lasts while the dragon believes it is still sleeping. Each descent represents a deeper dream layer and acts as the game’s prestige system: progress resets, but permanent bonuses carry over. Deeper layers produce resources faster, letting the hoard grow with each dive. --- This game is a submission for https://itch.io/jam/new-years-incremental-game-jam-2026 with theme "Inception" and bonus theme "No Text". This game is only an entry for the main theme, as we obviously violate the requirements for the bonus theme. Our relation to "Inception" is through the deeper nesting levels of dream of the dragon, somewhat similar to the movie with the title "Inception".
