Hazel's Mimics Mimic-loving witch Hazel and her pet rock, Inanimate Object, hunt down and/or capture mimics for a living. Help her along the adventures her client pay her for, and try not to die! The Game Hazel's Mimics is an original game created by five friends for the Sleepless Domain Community Game Jam 2026. Made with RPG Maker MZ. Contains custom art, music, and a fully original story. (If you don't know what to do after taking care of the first mimic- all you need to do to finish the tutorial level is leave the way you came. There's a more to it than that! 🥰) The Team This game was created in collaboration by: CrypticSkyKuraPrincessLapisKateDKlefknir Full credits are included in the game. Controls Intended to be used with mouse and keyboard, but supports touch controls for mobile. Keybinds can be checked/reconfigured in the settings. Default Controls Move with ZQSD* or left click. Cast a spell with the space bar or click on the top hotbar button. Attack with right click or click on the bottom hotbar button. Tap the bag icon on the top left to open menu options. You can change equipped spell and weapon through their respective menus, as well as save, load, and check the credits. *ZQSD is WASD for AZERTY keyboards. If you have a QWERTY keyboard, change it to WASD. Known issues: Can be a little wonky to play on mobile, dialogue choices seem not to work properly so save often in case you accidentally click through something you don't want. (Won't stop you from completing the game, but may lead to skipping something.)
