Blacksmith of Love

Hey everyone! I’m the lead (and only) blacksmith around here, and I am beyond excited to finally open the doors to the workshop. Blacksmith of Love has been a passion project in the making, and with your support, we’re going to turn this humble village into something legendary—or at least something with a lot of high-quality innuendos. 📜 The Story So Far You play as a young guy returning to his childhood home after his grandfather mysteriously vanished. The goal? Step into his boots, fire up the forge, and become the town’s premier blacksmith. But it's not just about hitting hot metal with a hammer. You’ll be navigating a village full of "interesting" characters each with their own specialty that will help your craft and journey in becoming the best blacksmith there is. 🎮 What’s Under the Hood? The Card Battle System: Inspired by Slay the Spire, you’ll use custom decks to fight off monsters. This gets unlocked towards the end of this version, until then you'll have to hire a bodyguard. 😉 The Mining & Crafting Loop: Head to the caves to smack some respawning iron nodes, then bring the ores back to forge gear. Comic-Style Dialogue: I’m using Koikatsu to bring the characters to life with high-quality renders, paired with a comic-book aesthetic and character effects that make every conversation pop. Simple Quest System: The Quest system is simple, but will assist you in most quest to keep track of your objectives and quickly find where you need to go. The little arrow around you will show you where you need to go, if you have to go anywhere. Blacksmith of Love is still at the start of the road, right now we only have 3 characters and in this version you will get to meet them 😉 with plans to introduce more characters in the next versions. Each new version will come with new characters and quests for these characters, as well as new quests for the existing characters. It's hammer time!!!
