Lucrum Sanguinis - The Quaestor's Legacy

A letter arrives. The Colonel is missing. You served under him in the Crimea. You still call him Colonel. When his note reaches you, a simple request for help, you know something is very wrong. Lucrum Sanguinis: The Quaestor's Legacy is a text adventure in the Infocom tradition. Victorian England, 1870s. The Colonel's estate holds the answers. What they lead to is not what you expected. Features a loading screen by the wonderful castpixel. The game itself has no in-game sound, but comes with an original SID-phonic soundtrack, each track composed in three parts with rich SID sound powered by Plogue Chipsynth C64, for those who want a little more atmosphere while they play. The game is provided as a Commodore 64 disk image and a .z3 file. To play, you will need either a Commodore 64 or an emulator, or any Z-interpreter capable of running .z3 files. Windows and macOS executables are also available, with integrated music and bonus sound effects. The Windows version requires Windows 11 or later. The macOS version requires macOS Tahoe or later. The soundtrack is also available on Bandcamp in FLAC for higher sound quality.
