Sanguine – Survivor Stories (Standalone Demo) A bonus game mode from the survival horror game Sanguine, currently in Early Access. Sanguine is an atmospheric, PSX-inspired survival horror game set in the doomed town of Craven Oaks, where parasitic creatures known as Bloods are taking hold. The full game is available in Early Access on Steam, and the free Main Campaign Demo can also be played there: 👉 Steam Early Access This game is also localized in French, German and Spanish. What Is Survivor Stories? Survivor Stories is a dedicated Arcade-style mode designed to be played after completing Kris’s first campaign in Sanguine. This standalone Itch version exists to let players try it early while it’s still in active development alongside the Early Access release. Each run drops you into a compact, randomized map with one primary goal: Complete the objectives before the clock runs out! Survivor Stories revolves around four core pillars: Time Limit – Runs are governed by a strict countdown. If it hits zero, you die. Randomization – Enemy spawns, containers, rewards, and even parts of the map shift every attempt. The Shop – Every session begins inside a safe hub where you can buy, recycle, or store gear using Blood Shards before the run begins. Ranking System – Your final Rank is determined by how much time is left when you escape. This mode is all about fast routing, replayability, and adapting on the fly. More features—including map- and character-specific Steam Leaderboards—will be added in future updates. Objectives (Varies by Map) While objectives differ between scenarios, the general flow is: Start in the Shop (timer paused) Buy or recycle gear Leave the Shop to begin the run Explore the randomized map Complete mission-specific objectives (e.g., collecting gems, eliminating key targets) Escape before time expires Every run is a bit different, and surviving with extra seconds on the clock earns you a better Rank. For this demo only the first map and first two characters are available for play. Future maps and characters will be unlocked in the full game.
