Floating Reveries Prototype

Floating Reveries is a game about a near death experience dream of someone like you and I. In this dream, a Mysterious Figure points out that the player has lost his memories and must recover them through a strange place with islands that float. In his endeavors, he finds his own direction & remembers a few things. But he's still lost as the dream itself, reflects upon the self. Floating Reveries features dozens of unique 3D & 2D arts. We went for a low poly art style and moody post processing filters. We went for a more narrative based approach, inspired by games like Life is Strange and Gone Home. We also went with portals as they seemed the ideal way to traverse across the abstract landscapes.
