Apostle: The Flesh Cathedral (Prototype)

God fell silent. The walls began to scream. A visceral, PS1-styled cosmic horror prototype. "UNTIL FLESH TURNS TO ASH..." APOSTLE: THE FLESH CATHEDRAL is an atmospheric first-person horror game that walks the thin line between faith and insanity. The Apostle’s madness built a monument not of stone, but of meat and bone. Convinced that divine communion required the absolute shedding of the mortal coil, he sacrificed his flock—brick by bloody brick—to raise a cathedral to a silent God. You are his last remaining acolyte, returned to complete the Final Sacrament. But beware; the Cathedral is not empty. The "Seraphim"—a divine monstrosity stitched together from the beloved—stalks these dripping corridors. KEY FEATURES The Veil of Flesh: What you see is a lie. Hold [LMB] to peel back the layer of reality and reveal the true, fleshy nightmare underneath. You must gaze into the abyss to find hidden paths and Relics. Sanity is a Currency: Stare into the truth for too long, and it will consume you. Lingering in the "Hell" dimension or the darkness drains your sanity, triggering a Forced Hell state where there is nowhere to hide. Retro Aesthetics: Experience a nostalgic nightmare with PS1-era graphics, jittering vertices, VHS tape effects, and a haunting soundscape. An Unforgiving Stalker: The Seraphim cannot be fought. It listens. It hunts. When you hear the wet thud of its footsteps, your only option is to run. CONTROLS W, A, S, D: Move MOUSE: Look LEFT CLICK (Hold): Reveal the Truth / Collect Relics ESC: Pause This is a v1.0 Prototype. If you encounter issues or have ideas for the full version, please leave a comment below. The Cathedral is hungry for your thoughts.
