Roots
A short game about making choices between preserving the past and respecting the natural development of the present. SYNOPSIS Deep within ancient ruins a village lives off of the fruit of a single, giant tree. But this tree has rooted itself through a valuable relic, an ancient structure that was built to store knowledge from ages past. A team of archeologists and researchers has made camp in the village, wanting to cut this tree down to access the well of information that it holds. The villagers object, because cutting down the tree would mean their village would lose its source of food. Both parties have called on you, an ancient, reanimated statue made by the original creators of these ruins. As a relic yourself, only you have the right to decide which choice is the right one.
